Yeah definatly. I understand that you want to do web 2.0 its very fad now or so it seems but it is rather bland, and really to make it more your own add a bit of flavor to your artwork change it up a little. Anybody can make a web 2.0 site but it takes a designer to make one with a little innovation. After all by definition a designer is one who creates something from nothing using nothing more than their own ideas. A Plagerist is one who copies an artists ideas and to some degree that also includes using a general standard of what you can and cant do with web 2.0. If I confused you im sorry these pain killers are just now really kicking in so yeah....

U think so? I was having the same thought also when designing this theme but then I look at the whole design, the concept is more to a web2.0 style. So at that time I was hesitate should I put the grungy texture or not... It's a... kind of experimenting

The texture you have at the bottom of the brown section would make your whole layout look better if you used it throughout the whole brown section.
